Learning to skate is as easy as 1, 2, 3 with the Barbie Grow with Me 1, 2, 3 Roller Skates from Fisher-Price. These skates are designed with fashionable first-time skaters in mind, providing a three-step learning process complete with Barbie's stylish charm. The skates also feature adjustable sizing so they can grow with you as you learn.

Barbie Makes Skating as Easy as 1, 2, 3!

These quad-style roller skates make learning to skate easy and fun. In a three-step process, wheels can be adjusted to accommodate your skill level. In Stage 1, wheels lock so beginners can "skate-walk" on wheels that won't roll, helping with stability and balance. When you're ready for Stage 2, a quick and easy adjustment allows wheels to roll forward, but not back. In the final Stage, 3, all wheels are unlocked for some "freewheeling" fun, forward and back. All you have to do to adjust the levels is press down and slide on the wheel control plate. Adult supervision is required during play, and remember to wear safety gear as you advance!

Skates Grow with You as You Learn

As you advance through the skating stages, these skates will adjust to your growing feet. On the bottom of the skates, two teal adjustment buttons can be squeezed together to extend the skate size. Find an adult to help you adjust the skates! Once you're adjusted, use the easy-adjust hook-and-loop fasteners to secure the skates in place, and you're ready to skate.

Our testers enjoyed the fashionable look of these skates and the ease of adjustment. They found that levels of adjustment only apply to the front wheels of the skates, so the skates weren't as stable as our testers had hoped. Be sure to wear safety gear as you skate and you'll still learn all the stages in no time!

What's in the Box

Two roller skates and instructions.

From the Manufacturer
Quad-style 4-wheel Barbie roller skates make learning to skate as easy as 1, 2 and 3. Wheels lock for Stage 1, so beginners can “skate-walk” on wheels that don’t roll. As confidence, ability and balance increase, advance to Stage 2, where a quick and easy adjustment allows the wheels to roll forward, but not back. Then it’s on to Stage 3 for “freewheeling” fun, forward and back. Size adjustable to fit child shoe sizes 6-12.
